PEDRO PIRES MUSIC BIOGRAPHY
At the age of 5 starts dancing and singing Elvis Presley under his father and aunts influences. At this age he makes some shows by dancing Elvis in front of public parties with people making circles to see him dancing. Also at this age starts listening to aunt´s Anita playing piano and his caught playing it just by memory.
In 1982, with 11 years, he moves to a new house with his fathers and sister and starts to see MTV every day. Special influences of Prince, Dire Straits, Lloyd Cole, Jesus and Mary Chain, Eurythmics and a lot more. At this time he understands that his voice can adapt to the different MTV singers and so he practice alone at home.
At the age of 15 he listening for the first time what would become his great influence in music, the singer Terence Trent D´Arby (Sananda Maitreya). At this time he starts writing some love poems and songs in the Portuguese language.
Because of his shyness he always kept his voice to himself.
He got also some Hip Hop influences as he becomes a great dancer of Hip Hop at the age of 20. Also entered in some public shows of Hip Hop in his home town.
Losing a bit of his shyness finally at the age of 25 he goes to some castings of music and his selected to go to a TV show where he gives a great show with the presenter of the TV show. He didn´t win the singing contest but he becomes a full page picture in a TV magazine.
Coming to London in 2011 and joining the Soho music team brought him back to his wish to become a singer and to record a music CD of his own songs!
In December 2023 finally a fist single is released “Tea With Me” and then in April 2024 the second single “All About Nature”! More songs recorded and ready to be released soon!!!
